PROFESSOR BEACH GOT FAT!

November 4th, 2011

Okay, so maybe it was one too many Strawberry Daiquiris on the beach at sunset… or maybe just way too many
Cheeseburgers in Paradise.  No excuses, Professor beach got FAT! 225 lbs FAT.  After years of exploring and enjoying beaches around the world it just wasn't fun anymore. No more fun because when I got to the beach I was ashamed to take off my shirt. Ever feel that way?

My last beach exploring trip to Florida really did it. I just sat in a beach chair under an umbrella. Didn't even want to swim or walk on the beach because I was just too uncomfortable in my skin. Just too much of me “in my skin”. Fast forward two months and I'm down to 205 lbs and on my way to a fit and healthy lifestyle. Join me on my pursuit of health and once again walking the beach with my shirt off.   Watch my progress and see how I did it here.

What people are saying about Nassau on Twitter

June 26th, 2011

Nassau is a popular port for Caribbean Cruises. If you have a stop in Nassau check out the excursions that you are offered by your cruise line.   I recommend the Atlantis Resort excursion.   But if you don’t do the excursion, I suggest that you hire a taxi to Paradise Island & check out this amazing resort.    You can walk around & enjoy the aquarium, watch the people on the famous water slide, check out the pools & enjoy the day at the Atlantis.  One last thing – don’t forget to check out the beach!

Endless crystal turquoise water beguiles the senses and invites you to explore vibrant coral reefs beneath its surface in this quintessential island paradise.

With its famed gaming establishments and ultra-luxurious shopping venues, as well as downtown Nassau’s pastel pinks and blues and its bustling straw market, the Bahamas perfectly mingles the sultry island rhythm with a cosmopolitan sophistication to create the best of both worlds.  Click on this link to Enjoy the best of the Bahamas at Sandals Resorts!

Facts about New Providence:
Since 1960, New Providence, The Bahamas, has become an American vacation destination with many tourist facilities, including a deepened harbor for short-visit cruise ship visitors and hotels offering gambling. Two-thirds of the 300,000 Bahamians live on New Providence, although this proportion has fallen somewhat with the development of Freeport on Grand Bahama.
